How is the grade calculated?
Each correct answer is worth 1 point and each "partially correct" question is worth a fraction (50% by default). The grade is: (correct + partials × partial value) ÷ total questions × maximum grade. Example: 7 correct + 1 partial (50%) out of 10 questions, test worth 10 → (7 + 0.5) ÷ 10 × 10 = 7.5.
What if the test weight is different from 10?
Just adjust the "Maximum grade (test weight)" field. The tool distributes the value equally among the questions.
Can I change how much a partially correct answer is worth?
Yes. Some teachers give 0.5 for a partially correct question, others use different values. Adjust it in "Partial-credit value (%)".
Is the data sent to any server?
No. All calculations happen in your browser.
